Part of the aerothermodynamics branch working on the low-and high-fidelity numerical tools toward complete vehicle design from subsonic to hypersonics. Setting up tool chains for multi-disciplinary design, promoting practices for sustainable code development. Part of the COOP team of CERFACS which aims at developing numerical tools to support the different research teams. Working in this postdoctoral position on- the effect of turbulence on shock wave structures- the study of approaches to specify turbulent Prandtl and turbulent Schmidt numbers in a variable manner within the context of supersonic combustionContact with different applications of the TAU CFD code (synthetic turbulence, LES, DES, RANS, combustion) and contributing to its validation by collaborating with fellow researchers.

As a part of my PhD I organised a research visit to the Center for Hypersonics (CfH), leading group in scramjet research with world class experimental facilities. My work focused on the numerical modeling of scramjet flows. I contributed to the development of the in-house CFD code Eilmer (http://cfcfd.mechmining.uq.edu.au/eilmer/) by implementing a combustion model suitable for the preliminary design of scramjets. The visit was made possible through the support of the J.M. Lessells scholarship from the Royal Society of Edinburgh as well as through the Mac Robertson scholarship from the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde.
