Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements2.Compliance and Risk Management Lead the auditing and ensure all company operations comply with local, national, and group standards Overseeing the investigation, analysis, and reporting of incidents and accidents, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented3.Operational OversightDevelop, implement, and monitor programs to prevent injuries and illnesses. such as ISO45001/14001Lead projects aimed at improving the company's footprint, such as energy reduction, waste recycling, and sustainable product design4.Training and Development Develop and conduct EHS training programs to promote a mature EHS culture5.Talent ImprovementLead and mentor the EHS, project team and sustainability teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence6.Performance Monitoring Establish and monitor KPIs for EHS, CAPEX projects and sustainability performance7.Emergency PreparednessDevelop and implement emergency response plans to against potential EHS crises. Conduct regular drills and training sessions to ensure preparedness for emergencies.

Addition focuses on:1) Target Breakdown - Develop and implement regional and site product stewardship roadmap and action plans in line with local regulations and group management standards;2) Product R&D - new product feasibility study to ensure that the design complies the group standards and local legislations;3) Chemicals - Engaging, training, implementation and supervision of digital solutions for chemical management (ChemWatch) to support the establishment, development and implementation of chemical management systems for sites in the region;

Additional to the general responsibilities, the role focuses on the engagement and supporting the Group's sustainability strategy development and performance evaluation mechanism, and ensuring the strategic deployment of sustainability in the APAC region and the regional performance contribution meet the Group's roadmap and milestones1) Sustainable products and services - promote the development and design of green products and services to ensure that the product life cycle impact on the environment (carbon footprint) is minimized.2) Project planning and execution - Responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of ESG and sustainable development projects, and ensure the projects are completed on time and on quality. Manage project budget to ensure effective cost.3) Report preparation - Participate in the preparation and publication of ESG reports to report the company's sustainability performance to management and external stakeholders. Ensure that regionally relevant reporting complies with international standards adopted by the company such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and MSCI.

Additional to the general responsibilities, the role focuses on the overall EHS management and collaboration in the APAC region (except for 6 RR factories in China). It covers all four divisions of the company - RR, SWS, SB and BBRG - as well as 11 manufacturing plants, 1 R&D center, 1 equipment manufacturing center, 4 sales offices and 2 regional headquarters offices

Additional to the general responsibilities, the role focuses on the environmental and health affairs of all factories (17), R&D centers (1), equipment manufacturing sites (1), sales offices (4) and regional headquarters offices (2) in Asia Pacific1) Compliance Management - To monitor and ensure compliance with relevant environmental and health regulations at the Company's various operating locations in the Asia Pacific region. Regular internal audits and assessments are conducted to ensure compliance and reduce environmental and health risks.2) Environmental protection and Health surveillance - promote environmental protection and health surveillance programs, such as energy conservation and emission reduction, waste management, water resources protection, and ergonomic risk mitigation, etc. Develop and implement plans to reduce carbon emissions and other E&H impacts.3) Risk management - Identify and assess environmental and health risks (such as significant environmental factors, ergonomic hazards, etc.) and develop risk management strategies. Implement risk prevention and control measures to reduce potential environmental and health hazards

Additional to the role of China EHS Head, the role had more focus on the development, implementation and supervision of environment management system and programs in the region. This includes training, emergency plans, supervising the maintenance of environmental critical equipment, compliance with relevant environment regulations and corporate policies, risk management, and development and implementation of continuous improvement.

The role encompass overseeing the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) functions across all operations within China. This position ensures that Cabot’s facilities comply with local regulations, adhere to corporate EHS policies, and continuously improve EHS performance. The role plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, health, and environmental compliance of the company's operations within China. This role involves strategic planning, risk management, regulatory compliance, performance monitoring, and fostering a culture of safety and sustainability. And serves as a key liaison between local operations and corporate headquarters, ensuring that EHS standards are consistently met and continuously improved.
