After 2 years of experimentation and slow growth, we are now ready to turn Apsbay into a real business. My role is to lead this idea into a profitable business in the next 3 years to identify the opportunities and to knock down every door to make things happen.

We are a new startup looking to fill the gap for Singapore SMEs by providing cost effective business consultancy services and excellent IT services. The aim is to be a catalyst for improved productivity and eventually higher profitability. It was a great 11 fruitful years in the industry: buying and selling, investing and divesting, leading and training. I have gained many good friends, learned valuable lessons throughout and the management had given me ample opportunities.

As the Master Trainer of the Landed Realtor System, I designed the curriculum and worked out the syllabus from the ground up together with the Team at Zest Academy. The course was designed to impart all the skills and knowledge required for a salesperson to excel in selling or buying Landed Properties in Singapore. Having experience in adult learning, this course was designed to be interactive and hands on. The course was run successfully over 2 years with 1 course every quarter and the highest turnout for the course was 40, which was our maximum capacity.

I was responsible for expanding the dealer network in both Singapore and in the region. The company was new in 2001 and expanded quickly in Singapore. I was personally able to source and appoint distributors in Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Australia, UAE and even sold the products in UK. OWS is a German manufacturer of automotive lubricants and additives and has now grown into a truly global enterprise with a good network of dealers and distributors around the world.

Started working as a Realtor immediately after leaving the Army.

Commissioned as an Infantry Officer in 1990 and signed up for the Local Training Award. Went to NUS and graduated in 1993 with a BSc (Computer and Info Science). In between, I attended a conversion course and became an Armour Officer. After graduation I served as an Armour Officer. Held various appointments; notably held command as a Combat Team Commander and eventually left after serving a tour as a Battalion Intelligence Officer. I went on to serve in NS and was awarded the National Day Award, Long Service Medal (Military) in 2016 and eventually retired in 2017 after 28 years of service.
