Transmission Operations Supervisor
CurrentJames (Jimmy) Lowe serves as Supervisor for the Atlanta Transmission Operations Center. In this capacity, Lowe is at the helm of satellite, fiber, and IP operations as well as secure international distribution for all transmission and broadcast services. His primary responsibility is overseeing the daily operations and long-term development of the global teleport. Jimmy is focused on leading various business development initiatives including IP transport and new media technology. Before joining Encompass Digital Media, Lowe held several operations and technology related positions; including ENG/SNG Engineer and Senior Operations Technician.Encompass, a global leader in mission-critical media capture, management and distribution services, owns and operates broadcast facilities throughout Argentina (Buenos Aires), Asia (Singapore), U.K. (London) and U.S.A.
