I also manage, as needed, the Phase II construction process and warranty procedures. The construction management responsibilities require the application of independent judgment and discretion to (1) manage the relationship with various independent contractors, which may include 45 or more contractor personnel over multiple jobsites; (2) decide which materials are needed and in what amount and place orders for construction materials; (3) monitor the quantity and quality of construction materials and completed tasks, and (4) ensure standards of quality as set forth by Perry Homes. Factors critical to success include management of time under construction, construction supervision, direct overhead costs, budget variances and change orders. Projects under management of this position are not subject to onsite supervision.

I am responsible for the Phase II process, warranty procedures, and the Homeowner Demonstration. The construction procedures will include scheduling subcontractors, ordering construction material, inspecting materials and completed tasks, and maintaining standards of quality as set forth by Perry Homes. The Phase II process will begin with sheetrock finishing and end with the home completion.

I am responsible for the overall management of all Logistics, including movement of merchandise and supplies from the supplier to the DC to stores, and merchandise between stores. This includes global logistics for imports and exports. The most critical factor is maximizing speed to cash. I am responsible for managing and directing daily activities with the goal of compliance with company objectives, continued focus on improving lead-time with freight carriers and international processes and maximizing cost efficiencies. Focus on continuous improvement while making recommendations to the organization on programs and improving operations. I also am responsible for the creation and implementation of all policy and procedures for Logistics company wide.
