Jimmy started his career at Accenture, participating in large scale web development projects like Tax-on-web. He further pursued career as IT consultant at USG Innotiv at its client KBC Bank & Insurances. He specialized in object oriented design, design patterns and agile development.Jimmy then moved on to the field of functional design and agile coaching, for which he obtained the certificate of Scrum Master. Pursuing this path, he moved on to a position as Project Manager and later Team Leader for KBC Bank & Insurances in a web & mobile environment with a focus on innovation and user experience.In 2017 he took up the role of Department Head for .NET and O365 Development and SAP Infrastructure for KBC Group. In 2019 he took the lead of KBC's Enterprise Architecture team. In that role, he increased the maturity of architecture practices throughout the IT department, rolled out Lean Portfolio Management using the SAFe framework and led the initiative to increase the maturity of IT processes using the COBIT framework.As of october 2024, he started as Delivery Manager for Information Security and Risk Governance.He published 2 thrillers in 2022 and 2024, with a third one on the way (expected february 2025).
