Cantemo is a successful start-up with expertise in next generation media management. During the recent 5 years, the revenue has grown from 0 to 2 MEUR with a total of 15 employees, without any external capital.As the CTO for Cantemo, I manage the development department, consisting of two development teams today. I have worked with recruitment of all the team members, onboarding and introduction of all them and I manage all technical staff. The development teams include backend developers, frontend developers, system architects and scrum masters/team leads.In the early stages of the startup, my responsibilities were very broad and included everything from programming to sales & marketing. Also more hands-on activities within the product development, such as creating an advanced automated delivery pipeline including QA and test automation. I have also worked with the product management strategy, creating a customer base and developing that, business development and HR.There are two main product-lines within Cantemo. Cantemo Portal and Cantemo Iconik. Cantemo Portal is a next generation media management that is innovative especially in terms of integration with video editing tools, usability and ability to customize the product. The software built with tools such as Linux, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, JQuery and React. This product is today at use at over 100 customers worldwide, such as, Turner, CNN, The Guardian, Nike and Aftonbladet.Cantemo Iconik is a media management SaaS currently entering the market built on tools such as Linux, Python, Flask, Cassandra, React. Cantemo Iconik is innovative especially in terms of how it can combine local storage areas and cloud computing into a hybrid approach to satisfy extremely bandwidth hungry video editing workflows.

Plero Media was a venture founded in 2008 based in Stockholm focusing on building Media environments that demand both cutting edge IT and Media expertise. This business was later merged with Cantemo where i assumed the role as the CTO and merged most of Plero's IPR's into one joint product, later released as Cantemo Portal.

I was responsible for an R&D team consisting of 10 engineers using SCRUM. I also defined the software architecture and was product manager for Viz Video Hub, a digital asset manager for video.I managed architecture design of large digitalisation projects within the international media industry, such as BBC, CNN e.t.c.

I did early design and specification of Vizrt's off-the-shelf media asset management solution "Viz Video Hub" as well as product management for this product. I defined the process for manufacturing and implementation procedures for Vizrt's own videoserver/encoder "Viz Video Engine" including hardware and manufacturing workflow. Among other activities i also worked in sales, primarily as a pre-sales engineer building proof-of-concept solution and demonstrating them.

As a system specialist, I worked with system development. I worked mainly as a part of our Professional Services department delivering integration and installation services to international broadcasters. All services at Ardendo were focused towards customisation and implementation of Ardendo's own Media Asset Management system. I also spent considerable amount of time working in pre-sales with design and sizing of larger solutions.

I was responsible for a group of system engineers and developers (6 people) and 2 helpdesk organisations. Main tasks of the group where system development and system administration. I also initialised and delivered many centralisation projects for IT-infrastructure on the university campus. Including DNS, email, www and disaster recovery (TSM) for over 20.000 users, including researchers, students and other staff.

Administration and development of a UNIX-Based desktop plattform and later server environment for researchers and students, including storage (AFS) , DNS, Mail, WWW (apache) and backup. I worked primarly with Tru64, Linux and Solaris and also Windows 2000. I was also 2nd line support for differnt helpdesks on campus.
