About Jim Myers

A healthcare executive with a broad base of experience in children’s hospitals as well as in a managed care organization. Most recently, I led the Pediatric Mental Health Institute at Children’s Hospital Colorado. In less than 3 years I oversaw the creation of a strategic plan that is rapidly expanding much needed services for children and families and improved financial performance by more than $3 million.I believe that success comes from helping people achieve their full potential. As a leader I strive to recruit, develop and coach a high performing team and have been recognized as a mentor for some exceptionally talented leaders.Colleagues would say that I am a hands-on leader who brings passion, purpose and a focus on continuous improvement while at the same time genuinely engaging with the people I work with and making work satisfying and fun. I describe myself as driven by the customer/patient experience and a desire to make that the primary focus of goals and performance. I strive to earn the trust of the people that I work with as well as the patients and families that we serve.
