I have a diverse range of skills and experiences , ranging from horse training to computer programming to youth ministry. This has developed a strong work ethic along with the ability to quickly attain new skills. I have experience in leadership through the Boy Scouts of America having served in multiple guidance positions and service projects as a youth. Also gaining an appreciation and respect for the outdoors.In college I studied mathematics and took courses for programming in C, C++, and Python. After saving up enough money, I built a computer for work and for the sake of learning how. In the process I had to learn skills that were unknown to me before. Using cmd prompts, booting from a usb and experimenting with different operating systems.In the course of my work as a programs coordinator I was required to oversee employees during shifts, schedule classes for our Red Cross Lifeguard certification program, schedule instructors for the classes, and teach classes when necessary. This would then entail verifying information through contacting participants, inputting data into the database correctly, and ensuring that participants received their certifications. While overseeing lifeguard shifts it was my responsibility to handle situations with patrons in a professional manner despite the circumstance.During the course of working for Dine in Dude LLC I have picked up and had to learn new skills as well. My initial responsibilities were developing a delivery system for the company from the ground up. At first it was just me and Google maps. Now they employ 6 drivers and use an optimization software for route creation, tracking, and analytics. Thus saving money instead of using services such as Uber eats, grubhub, or the like. When not managing routes and delivery drivers I also assist in the kitchen. Depending on the week, this means some days last 16+ hrs. Thankfully those days are not often. It has instilled an appreciation for the work and backbone the food industry provides.With these experiences I have become an individual who is capable of learning to do the necessary work for a job and the ability to execute it in a manner that exceeds expectations.I am more than capable at learning and adapting to new situations and work environments.
