Was the primary SharePoint administrator/developer with a user base of 4,000 employees. Implemented new security policy procedures in accordance with HIPAA guidelines to secure patient data.Provided 24/7 on call support for all staff of the medical center. Conducted training of power users that administer their own project/department sites.Established electronic discharge white boards for all the nursing staff, allowing easier access than the traditional white board, with custom workflows built in to alert staff of necessary tasks.Created a nursing tuition reimbursement system which replaced a manual paper process and cut the time to complete the workflow in half.

Contributed to the development of the Tribune Company Intranet based on SharePoint 2010 utilizing agile software development process.Developed custom web parts utilizing business connectivity services interacting with several different line of business systems including Azure SQL databases. Created reusable developer VM images for the SharePoint development team.

Provided analysis and evaluation of SharePoint 2007 which lead to the company adoption of the platform, and subsequently had a major role in the company deployment of SharePoint to the intranet, extranet and internet. Developed 10 web applications based on the SharePoint 2007 platform for clients, including a government contract tracking portal which assisted the company in procuring several multi-million dollar contracts. Managed a project that implemented the Google maps API to display all the company office locations and integrated it with our SharePoint 2007 public internet site.Migrated an older web application based on the .Net Nuke platform to the SharePoint 2007 platform which resulted in a richer user experience and better metrics for the users. Produced custom timer jobs maintained within SharePoint that were able to extract data from external systems and then populate lists in SharePoint.Took all maintenance responsibilities of the pre-SharePoint intranet site from external consultants which resulted in an annual savings of $20,000.Assisted in the day to day operations of administrating the SharePoint farms. Developed several advanced custom visual studio workflows for various internal clients. Assisted in the maintenance of an antiquated visual basic windows application called CPM which was in use by many customers that required various bug fixes and upgrades.

Part of the team responsible for the post-merger re-branding of the http://www.att.com website.Took the role of software configuration manager; responsible for creating branches, versioning, merging, and deployment of codes. Provided maintenance and new Java code for the security component of http://www.att.com.Wrote and executed test plans for several applications. Assisted in the application analysis and design of several different applications; researched business requirements, provided pseudo code, and documented using UML. Developed components in Java and applied the Struts Framework for the Sales Tally application, which had a user base of over 12,000 customer service representatives. Produced several prototype GUI’s for the Sales Tally Tool using HTML & JavaScript.Self-taught the Struts Framework and trained team members on its usage.
