I am a strategy execution, growth and turnaround expert. I work with busy, often misaligned leadership teams to close their most important gaps-to-goals at speeds our clients don’t believe possible. Examples of gaps-to-goals I have helped teams close range from quadrupling the share price for a publicly traded company to improving employee engagement from an industry laggard (low 60%) to an industry leader (high 90%) in 3 years. The initiatives I've co-led with my clients have delivered over $1.6 billion in employee-led, incremental revenue and cost enhancements. To drive this scale of results, a pillar of my work is creating a culture of sustained peak performance. Along with unambiguous, quantifiable business results, my clients see employee engagement scores going from industry laggard to industry leader levels and earning best places to work awards. Peak performance and a solid culture are not mutually exclusive; you can and should have both.Prior to co-founding Empactful Advisors, I was a Managing Director at John Kotter’s strategy execution firm, Kotter International, where I led the firm’s largest, most complex global engagements and was responsible for delivery excellence across our most strategic accounts. Prior to Kotter, I was a researcher and consultant out of MIT’s Sloan School of Management where I apprenticed to Peter Senge. Through the formative experiences with these two leadership thought leaders, I have worked with some of the most recognized corporate, non-profit and government leaders around the world. Representative clients include Ascension, Banco de Mexico, Ben and Jerry’s, Boeing, BP, Chevron, Chromalloy, Coty, US Department of Defense, ExxonMobil, HMS, NetApp, Nike, PepsiCo, On Semiconductor, Real Madrid, Rolls Royce, Sellers Dorsey, Seventh Generation, Shell, Starbucks, Thyssen AG, Unilever, United Way, Ugandan Rural Training and Development Program, US Dept of Education, Walmart, and XL. Additionally, I am a well known thought leader in the leadership and results space including published articles, guest lectures at Harvard and MIT, and keynote speeches for large audiences. I earned my master’s degree from Harvard and the University of Virginia, where I also earned my undergraduate degree.
