While at JDSA, much of my practice involved protecting the interests of some of Washington’s largest farming operations when disputes arose in a variety of commercial contexts. The rest of my practice focused on advancing the civil interests of several municipalities, as well as building a construction litigation practice, where I represented both contractors and project owners when disputes arose in the midst of construction projects.

In my role as a litigation associate, I focused my practice on defending claims of construction defect, premises liability, and professional malpractice. I gained considerable experience in successfully defending complex, high-exposure litigation.

In this role, I developed considerable proficiency in eDiscovery and the Relativity platform, providing first and second-level review for a large document production project with hundreds of thousands of responsive documents.

As a clerk for the Attorney General of Washington, I worked in the state employment litigation section defending the State of Washington in discrimination and wage actions. With a primary focus on dispositive motion drafting, I gained a lot of experience sifting through mountains of discovery material and recognizing the documents necessary to construct a sufficient case for summary judgment. I also had the opportunity to analyze state university contracts and collective bargaining agreements.
