James (Jim) H. Newcomb is a native of the Abilene area who enjoys the outdoors, range and wildlife management, fly fishing and almost every other sport. He has been active in the community by serving on various non-profit boards, coaching youth sports, the Texas Wildlife Association Region 2 Director and currently sits on the Hardin Simmons University School of Business Advisory Board. Jim is married to his wife Michele and has two children, Wyatt  and Weston.Jim joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 1994 after 6 years in the commercial banking industry. He earned his BBA degree in Finance from Hardin Simmons University in 1986 and his MBA in 1990 from Texas Tech University. Jim holds the Series 7, 63, 65, 9 and 10 FINRA registrations. He accepted the Resident Director position for the Abilene Merrill Lynch Wealth Management office in 2004 and has achieved the Senior Resident Director title.
