In 2007, Macdonald Consulting Group merged with Blytheco to form Blytheco, LLC. In the new firm Jimmy continued to serve as a software engineer, supporting Sage MAS 90, MAS 200, MAS 500, and Crystal Reports. Until 2010, Jimmy was also a Blytheco certified trainer in Sage MAS 90, MAS 200 and in Crystal Reports for MAS 90, MAS 200, and MAS 500.

In 2002, OSA merged to become the Tampa office of Macdonald Consulting Group. And, in 2004, Jimmy began working with Sage MAS 500, learning Microsoft Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL.

Owens, Sasser and Associates (OSA) is a consulting firm which provided various custom accounting applications to companies throughout Florida, with an emphasis on applications for the citrus industry. Jimmy served as a consultant and programmer, working primary in the development languages PXS and Clarion. In 2001, Jimmy began working with Sage MAS 90, MAS.

Jimmy began his career in 1980 while in college. He worked part-time in the warehouse of Pyramid Paper Company in Tampa, and he was Supervisor of Data Processing by the time he left the company in 1986.
