My name is Jimmy Zhao, and I am a first-generation college student attending Providence College. I am currently a sophomore with a major in Business Marketing. I operate an E-commerce business through social media, selling sneakers. I established my business when I was 15 years old, and I have been scaling it ever since. Last year, I generated over $750,000 in revenue, and this year I am on track to surpass $1,000,000. Throughout my entrepreneurship journey, I have developed skills that many may not have. For example, I have acquired skills in financial management, social media marketing, data analytics for investments, running ads, building a website, networking, and many more. I have gone through many trials and errors that have led me to where I am today, and without hard work and dedication, none of this would have been possible. My dream is to inspire and motivate others through what I do, creating a positive impact on the world. As a student at Providence College, I am able to use the knowledge I obtain in the classroom to apply it to my business. I am a big believer, and I'm very confident that whatever I want to achieve, I can do it, just as I did with my own business, which I started from scratch.
