Jim has worked as a Process Engineer and Project Manager responsible for a broad range of projects. Process experience has been in the chemical, glass, paper, automotive, die casting, oil refining and plating industries and encompasses design, project scheduling, economics, maintenance, quality and safety. In the environmental area, experience includes computer simulated diffusion modeling, preparation of spill prevention programs, participation in the design of wastewater treatment facilities and responsible for the operation and maintenance of water pollution control facilities.He has been responsible for chemical process engineering and design including process flow diagrams development, piping and instrumentation diagram development, calculations involving fluid flow, sizing and specifying manufactured equipment such as pumps, cooling towers, air compressors, specialized process equipment and control valves. His areas of application include chemical manufacturing industry, manufacturing industry, automotive industry and industrial waste treatment.Current responsibility is the management of large capital projects in the process industry.
