Through creative strategies, solid contract negotiations, strategic consolidation processes, analyzing and refining supply chain networks, my teams have saved organizations millions of dollars over the years, all contributing directly to the P&L. North America Cotton Division

Operations Cotton Division – COFCO is a global commodity company. Fast start-up initiative in designing and implementing a new U.S. operations team within 60 days and relocating the team within 90 days from Houston, TX to Memphis TN. Completed on time and within budget.• Hired complete staff within 60 days and initiated accelerated training program identifying detail SOP flows with personal accountability structure. • Expanded the scope and analytics of the TMS system to achieve higher service levels and control freight costs avoiding $525K in rate and service fees.• Initiated supply chain velocity strategy to prioritize inventory allocation to meet international contractual sales. Service improvements eliminated late delivery penalties of $1.1M. • Reduced freight costs by 4% for U.S. and global shipments by renegotiating, standardizing and streamlining carrier contracts to provide timely on-boarding process while reducing freight costs. Initial savings of $525K identified just in first phase of cotton season.• On-boarded Logistics Excellence program to establish Best in Class service and cost levels. Managed an operations team for various levels of pharmaceutical products for domestic and international shipments. As a logistics service provider, Dohmen manages supply chain operations for over 70 clients involving expedited, parcel (ground, air), LTL, truck load and specialized shipments. Implementing transportation management strategy to enhance service levels, reduce costs and develop in depth distribution networks. The integration of a new TMS system will enable advanced abilities to service clients to meet their critical marketing strategies for current markets and new product launches.

Greater Memphis Area

Managed over $50 million transportation operating budget with a staff of 26 people involving container exports and domestic truck shipments. Allenberg is top exported in the U.S. for container shipments and controlled over 30,000 annual truck load shipments. Negotiated carrier service contracts to improve freight costs and service levels. Improved customer on-time domestic carrier service from 84% to Best in Class 96% over eighteen month period. Expanded scope of carrier management by adding third party carrier modes increasing capacity by 12% over eight months. Developed continuous inventory resupply model for inbound ocean container shipments to South East Asia textile mills to balance replenishment targets. Developed improved transportation management strategy for domestic services with implementation of a TMS system.

Supply Chain Logistics professional. Provide consulting and contract assignments. Transportation Services - matching carriers with shippers for all modes, international and domestic shipments. Developed distribution and transportation networks for key clients to access their overall service and transportation spend to access areas for improvement and expansion.
