Jim is a Class A PGA Professional with over 23 years of experience in the golf business. He currently serves as the Director of Instruction at Cedarbrook Country Club in Blue Bell, PA. Prior to this he previously taught at Play-a-Round Golf - Malvern (Indoor Golf Facility), Valley View Golf, Blue Bell Country Club, Squires Golf Club, White Manor Country Club, Bala Golf Club, LuLu Country Club and Valley Forge Golf Club.Throughout his career Jim has spent a great deal of time learning to improve his own game while sharpening his own teaching skills. He has spent time with Ted Sheftic, Bernie Najar, Mike Adams, James Sieckmann, Mark Durland, Ron Cerrudo and Philly PGA Legend Bud Lewis. Jim has also completed Ken Venturi's Golf Academy as well as multiple clinics held by Dave Pelz.He has been nominated and awarded Honorable Mention for the US Kids Top 50 Instructors in 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020. He has been nominated by the Philadelphia PGA for the 2017 Youth Player Development Award. He is an AimPoint Level 1 Certified Instructor, Swing Catalyst Certified, BodiTrak Certified in Ground Mechanics, FlightScope Xi Tour Certified, U.S. Kids Certified Coach, PGA.Coach/ADM Certified. Jim is also TPI (Titelist Performance Institute) Certified as well as TPI's Junior Level 2 Certified. He has a passion for teaching people the game of golf...bettering his students and helping them enjoy the game is his goal in this business. He has an extensive background in personal training and spends a good amount of time in the gym training and reaching his own personal fitness goals.
