Konnect2 is a data aggregator, providing algorithmic idea generation to credit market investment professionals. • Conceived of technology application, conducted market survey and competitive analysis, interviewing numerous institutional customers to validate the concept. Hired and managed off-shore technology staff to build prototype. • Called on and pre-sold prototype to institutional asset managers including top tier insurance company, hedge fund and investment manager. • Raised seed capital from numerous financial market executives, fin tech entrepreneurs and a strategic corporate partner. • Built out team, led product design, successfully delivered the product to marketplace. • Negotiated successful exit to market leading corporate acquirer.

Co-founded and oversaw operations of a financial services software company providing a front office trading platform to Wall Street broker/dealers.Product Manager: Conceived and created software service to improve the workflow of institutional credit traders and salespeople, generate trade ideas and enhance enterprise profitability. • Performed initial market needs and analysis. Developed business plan. Wrote product specifications, coordinated and managed team of visual designers, software developers and quality assurance engineers in development of an enterprise SAAS offering. • Developed sales and marketing strategy – initially responsible for lead generation and direct sales of product. • Identified and negotiated contracts with more than 10 contributing data vendors. • Oversaw data center operations for a live trading system fully supported (5 days /week x 12 hrs/day). Responsible for the development of an institutional B2B platform for trading execution of money market securities in Europe and the U.S. • Led negotiations and secured the participation of three of London’s top global money market broker/dealers. • Oversaw a team of software developers responsible for creating a software platform connecting global debt issuers, broker/dealers and institutional money managers.• Marketed and sold custom technology services (software design and development) to bulge bracket Wall Street firms.

Performed various roles as part of general contractor team managing the construction of commercial construction projects including mid-rise office building, a Class A office headquarters for a Fortune 100 firm, an international airport and a hotel. • Graduated from management training program. Two year program rotations included on-site construction management as well as scheduling, estimating, purchasing, cost accounting and safety management.• Performed project and field engineering tasks on 14 million gallon water retention tank supplying the city of Providence drinking water. Managed 25 tradesmen - carpenters, laborers and heavy equipment operators.• Coordinated the construction of a 30,000 s.f. elementary school addition and renovation. • As Project Superintendent was the single on-site resource responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project.• Project challenges included recognizing need for and building out temporary classrooms, relocating students during asbestos abatement, and coordinating the activities of 25 sub-contractors and 75 tradesmen ensuring that their work didn’t conflict with the educational needs of 300 students. Project was on-time and under budget with extremely satisfied client. • Spent one year working with the firm’s outside legal counsel (in their offices) supporting litigation of two construction-related legal disputes; participated in arbitration resolving $10 million dispute between architect, owner, subcontractors and our firm.
