Advise CEO, Executive Team members and other senior managers on key public relations opportunities and challenges, including crisis and advocacy communications, reputation and issue management, digital strategy, media relations and strategy and communicating change.Develop and execute strategic three-year visibility plan for CEO designed to effectively position him to advance organizational conservation, marketing, fundraising and government relations objectives.Lead comprehensive internal communications program to align, engage and inform 3,500 staff spread across 400 hundred offices in 35 countries on six continents.

• Managed communications and media outreach strategy for the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture and USDA. Led communications efforts on key Administration priorities. • Advised senior USDA leaders, including the Secretary, Deputy Secretary and all Under Secretaries, and other senior Administration officials on media strategy, issue management and advocacy communications. • Developed and led national-level strategic communications efforts for USDA environmental and natural resources issues, including those involving the U.S. Forest Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service and Farm Service Agency. • Specific duties included: managing the Secretary's media contacts and activities; briefing Secretary and other senior leaders on public relations implications of policy decisions; designing and implementing comprehensive internal and external communication plans; crisis communications and planning; advising Congressional Affairs Department on communication and media relations matters; serving as department and Administration spokesman; and traveling with the Secretary.

• Developed and executed comprehensive communications and public relations strategies for nine-term member of Congress and Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. • Advised Congressman on environmental and natural resources legislation and policy.• Extensive experience dealing with national, regional and local print and broadcast media; managing crises; producing publications, writing weekly columns, speeches and other outreach materials; navigating the legislative process; and working closely with key constituency groups. • Served as spokesman for the Congressman.• Served as press secretary for House Intelligence Committee. • Provided political campaign communications counsel during two reelection campaigns
