This data analysis forecasts financial performance including balance sheet and income statement impact for numerous multi-year projects and initiatives. Financial Results: Proven experience in budgeting, strategic forecasting, and in overseeing certain financial, accounting, and risk management aspects of our complex organization.Revenue Oversight: Oversee the intra-company cost allocation of significant technology expenditures and manage numerous revenue lines (accounting for $18M+ in annual revenue), directly budget and forecasting for another $50M+ in annual revenue as well as coordinate with the CFO to assess remaining revenue lines to ensure sufficient funding is available to meet organizational needs.Strategic Development: Direct certain strategic procurement activities (i.e., national CEO search and other significant Request for Proposals).Project Expansion: Own several other annual key financial projects with subsequent presentations to the Audit Committee – examples include the Loss Operating Reserve, forecasted revenue needs, recommended product pricing, and many others.

Senior consultant and liaison for members of the Statutory Accounting Principles Working Group (SAPWG). In this role, I also research newly issued and existing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and author authoritative literature for inclusion in the Accounting Practices & Procedures Manual, which directs the accounting and reporting requirements for U.S. insurers.Accounting Guidance: Recent notable authored guidance includes the accounting/reporting of transactions as a result of the discontinuation of LIBOR, cash/liquidity pooling, bank loan accounting, separate account disclosures, recognition of certain free-standing liabilities, and many others. Also provided secondary support for other authoritative guidance including items such as the accounting for certain loan-backed and structured securities, substantively revised guidance for perpetual stock, and others. Education & Presentations: I’ve designed and provided numerous educational sessions for both public and regulator use. Session attendance and reviews by participants have been outstanding with one session’s attendance topping 600. Additionally, solely designed supplemental training sessions for state insurance regulators, providing an added mechanism to train staff. Information Technology Division Liaison: Appointed lead technology liaison for division. Successfully and expediently transitioned legacy file structures to a web-based SharePoint infrastructure (fulfilling a strategic objective of the organization). Additionally, I provide ongoing training to staff regarding this and other IT initiatives.
