About Jim Popielec

After a successful 20 plus year Marine Corps career focusing on distribution and logistics, I transitioned from the military with the leadership and people skills I honed there and began working in the civilian sector. I have spent most of my career in operational logistics jobs focusing on distribution and strategic planning and have led and developed teams of diverse groups comprised of not only Marines and other military troops, but civilians, contract employees, and multiple non-governmental organizations. My extensive experience with continuous improvement, senior-level staff deadlines, and significant personnel management situations provides professional balance to my military background. Along with a keen understanding of crisis management and emergency management, my experience includes humanitarian and disaster relief operations in Somalia, Bangladesh, Japan, the Philippines and the United States. I am a Joint Specialty Officer (JSO), a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and earned a masters degree (with honors) in Public Administration (MPA) from Troy University.

Listed skills include Military, National Security, Security Clearance, Operational Planning, and 35 others.
