Mr. Quadrini has 30 years of experience assessing and managing contaminated sediments in natural systems. During this time he has performed all aspects of CERCLA-related Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study planning and implementation. He has designed, managed and led field sampling programs aimed at understanding contaminant sources, spatial and temporal trends in contaminant levels, fate and transport processes, and relationships between contaminant sources and receptors; managed the evaluation and interpretation of RI-related data, including the application of environmental forensics to identify contaminant sources; directed the development of hydrodynamic, sediment transport, chemical fate and bioaccumulation models, and the application of these models to assess the efficacy of various remedial strategies aimed at reducing risk to human and ecological receptors; and led the design and evaluation of pilot and field scale sediment removal, subaqueous capping, and in-situ treatment (via application of activated carbon to river sediments) studies. He has also worked closely with internationally recognized experts in ice processes and ice engineering to study the effects ice jams have on sediment and contaminant transport. This experience spans a diverse array of contaminants, including PFAS, and a wide range of site size and complexity, from small remote riverine systems to large, complex urban estuaries.Mr. Quadrini is an active member of several professional societies, a registered Professional Engineer in the States of New Jersey and Washington, and a certified member of the American Academy of Environmental Engineers.
