CurrentCapital Projects Oversight: Oversee Transmission and Distribution capital projects, through the Project Management team, to meet established scopes, schedules, and budgets while working to better align the group with corporate goals and objectives. In addition, I have provided, improved or developed: • Leadership - I have worked to provide the group with the leadership necessary to transform itself into a group ready for the challenges of both today and the future. I have also worked to develop the skills of the existing Project Managers through coaching and training. • Operational Excellence - I have implemented a number of practices and procedures with the goal of increasing efficiency of capital spend and reducing redundant/wasteful practices. • Process Management: Developed and updated project management processes and procedures to ensure consistent and effective project management practices are employed at Duquesne Light. . • Project Controls: Oversee Project Controls to ensure the transmission and distribution capital projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Responsible for ensuring projects have detailed planning, tracking, and control processes and documentation. • Developed Project Management Manual based on PMI PMBOK principles. • Introduced PMI PMP certification training to the companyOther achievements:- Developed the Project Management group's risk management program to align with COSO based Enterprise Risk management approach as well as overall corporate strategy.Other responsibilities:Oversee PMI PMP Certification Training.Develop Project Management career path/frameworkOversee Survey group operations.
