As chief legal officer at Genesys, I lead a team of over 50 legal professionals located throughout the globe and oversee all of our legal matters as well as our intellectual property portfolio. I also serve as corporate secretary. As an ASIS Certified Protection Professional, I play a leading role in overseeing important employee safety and security governance for Genesys. This includes leadership roles on our Workplace Safety Committee, Crisis Management Committee, Enterprise Risk Management Committee, and Threat Management Team. I led the drafting and implementation of our Workplace Violence Prevention Plan under SB 553 in California and have oversight responsibilities for physical site security, risk intelligence, incident management and investigations, and other important safety- and security-related risk and crisis management aspects of our business.
