As the pictures show, to adjust your RIDER BUCKLE, simply pull the tab out past the pin, then, slide the sleeve up in order to unlock the buckle and make your adjustment. After your adjustment is made, slide the sleeve down with enough pressure to allow the tab to lock over the pin. Jim Rider expanded on these designs and added a self-locking mechanism, which locks itself automatically after the user returns the stirrup sleeve to the desired adjustment.
