Ritchie Project Management Group provides customized project management services and construction oversight for both new and/or existing facilities to improve the project planning process, monitors budget and project schedules, establishes accountability, manages key deliverables and increases project success.

As a member of a WBE management team, I personally oversee all design and construction efforts for Federal, County and City government-based projects.

Key Entertainment/Theme Park design management has focused on setting the team’s cadence and course while directing internal staff and external architectural and engineering consultant teams in the successful execution through all phases of a full land’s design. Design management included multiple facilities, full area development including multiple water bodies and attraction/ride/show integration. Led and managed the team’s interface with County officials, the creative team, ride/attraction teams, park operations, Environmental, Health & Safety, Scheduling, Legal and Accounting groups. With budget, schedule and overall path ownership, I have coordinated creative design direction to ensure cohesion between the creative vision, budget and schedule constraints. Regularly I have met with the executive management team to present progress at the completion of each phase to inform and to validate the design intent and cost targets. As the senior facility representative, I have also managed the RFP, consultant’s RFI, submission review, bidding, negotiation, final team evaluations, selection and contract establishment for overall theme park and resort master plan.

Provided team leadership and oversight in the successful studies and construction document development for both new projects as well as full remodel/renovations of existing retail and grocery store establishments.

Provided executive consulting services for architectural projects and oversaw the Central Florida roll-out and permitting for the JC Penny rebranding efforts.

I led and managed specific portions of the design, engineering, and construction transformation of the 145-acre Cypress Gardens botanical park into the new LEGOLAND theme park.

As a member of the Entertainment Studio’s project management team, I have served as the key contact on specific projects and oversee internal and external project teams in their successful execution in meeting the client’s goals, budgets and deadlines. I lead the daily internal design activities from pre-design through construction documents, bidding, and permitting and construction administration. Responsibilities also include quality reviews, the development of specifications, proposals, contracts, schedules, staffing plans and work force projections and interview participation on a variety of project types and opportunities.

While with Applebee’s International, I worked closely with the Legal, Real Estate, Construction and Operations departments in the selection, execution and development of new store designs. After conducting an extensive national search, I selected, trained and managed architectural firms to represent Applebee’s brand, mission and goals is store development. During this same time, I created a new / modern “Grill” sustainable prototype design, which targeted key areas with populations of 12,000-15,000 people. I also conducted an extensive review of all prototypical designs to validate current designs and detailing, materials, methods, etc. and identified value engineering saving opportunities.

I managed the internal project teams in their efforts on a variety of business development opportunities. I also participated in and led project interviews, presentations and negotiations.

Participated in the design and development on specific sports facility projects and oversaw the development of construction documents and specifications within the internal project team and coordinated this development with various outside consultants. I also served as the primary project contact with clients and local municipalities. I participated in various marketing efforts through RFQ submittal development, interview participation and presentations.
