As a Senior Vice President and General Manager at AFIMAC Global, I am responsible for leading AFIMAC's Canada's business unit. With over 18 years of experience, I have held various leadership positions and have a proven track record of success in the security and investigative industry. Currently, I lead the Canadian operations including the Labour Unrest, Protection, and Investigation Divisions. My role includes supporting clients with consulting, training programs, workplace investigations, cargo and asset security, travel risk management, executive and family protection. In addition, I oversee key areas such as deployment, recruitment, human resources, project finance, and administration. I also handle revenue management, service agreements, budgets, cost projections, and vendor management.In my previous role as Senior Vice President, I had the responsibility of 350 corporate client accounts. I provided guidance related to security and investigative challenges, leveraging extensive operational knowledge and experience to provide effective solutions and advice. Additionally, I conducted training related to confrontation management, active aggressor and workplace investigations, completed threat risk assessments, as well as supported workplace violence risk mitigation strategies and response. I successfully applied project management skills when delivering client solutions related to contingency planning.As the National Vice President-Crisis and Disaster Response, I provided team leadership and client support in labour unrest situations. I coordinated with Corporate Security and Human Resources to resolve or mitigate damages caused by work interruptions. Prior to that, I was the Vice President of Corporate Investigation Services at a small private investigation firm located in London, Ontario. During my time at the firm, I was responsible for all sales and marketing as well as project management for ongoing assignments.I hold a Manufacturing Engineering degree from Fanshawe College and have completed various courses and certifications related to the security and investigative industry, including OSINT Investigations, and Certified Instructor Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI).
