This televised PGA Tour event has raised over $14M for its primary charity beneficiary, Curesearch for Children's Cancer, and will continue to provide greater funding & awareness for a worthy cause.• Greg Norman Golf Course Design: the world-renowned signature golf course design firm, their ever-expanding, award-winning portfolio showcases 100+ courses in 35 countries across the globe.• Shark Parks: With parks in W Palm Beach, FL, & Myrtle Beach, SC, both are known as premier wakeboarding facilities. The Parks also challenge guests of all ages on the massive Obstacle Island, and both feature the Shark Shack, a waterfront bar that presents a wide array of beers on tap and showcases Greg Norman Estates Wine.

A & Associates is a behind-the-scenes staffing agency. While relatively unknown compared to larger chain agencies, it is the primary temporary staffing agency for Palm Beach County Schools for food service, Orange County Schools for custodial service, and provides temporary administrative and security staffing to many local municipalities and counties in South Florida. They also provide temporary security staffing for major local events at the largest arenas in the area, and they had a major hand in providing the labor for the construction of the Ballpark of The Palm Beaches.I was the payroll administrator for the company, processing a weekly payroll that fluctuated between 800-1,200 temporary employees, as well as payroll for the two corporate locations' employees.

I handled intercompany accounting for Scott Safety, a large division of Tyco. This included money transfers, journal entries, month end closing & reporting.

I handled the retail accounting for Island Company, a luxury resort-wear & swimwear brand. I processed the sales, AP, payroll, & commissions for their six retail stores. I maintained the Point of Sales systems, monitored inventory of the main warehouse & showrooms, & provided trend reporting.

I worked for Game Plan Financial, a division of Daszkal Bolton that specializes in professional athletes' taxes and financial planning. I worked alongside a group of seasoned professionals, which includes partner Art Hurley who has been in the sports accounting business for 30 years. I prepared individual and small business tax returns, prepared tax projections for the athletes, and responded to IRS audits. I also performed bookkeeping for small businesses and high net worth individuals.

I originally began as a temp, having no prior accounting experience. I was hired on to be the office administrator but the managing partner convinced me to take advantage of the tuition reimbursement program and go back to school for accounting. Over time I was given more accounting work in tax, audit, and bookkeeping. I attended the CBH tax preparer training and began preparing individual tax returns. I also participated in several inventories for the audit team.
