My current focus is serving personal and commercial insurance clients needs. My primary market area is the San Francisco Bay Area, although I serve clients throughout California. My mantra in business has always been THE CUSTOMERS BEST INTEREST ALWAYS COMES FIRST.My origins in business was founding two successful start ups, selling the second (Cascade Forest Products, Inc. aka CFP) to a public company. At CFP, I built a market for packaged soil products (e.g. potting soil, decorative bark, etc.) from scratch to 2+ million annual unit sales, via 600 retail outlets and distributors in the Western United States. Grew sales every year over a 20-year period with average annual revenue growth of 20%+, while competing with long established and vastly larger players such as Scotts Miracle-Gro.I was a pioneer in the packaging of organic soil products. I created a highly effective branding strategy, creating seven unique proprietary product lines together with private label packaging to service various market segments.Helped get the Marin Energy Authority (MEA) established, which began supplying electricity to Marin County in May, 2010.Co-founded and led an initiative to create a new K-5 school program. Successfully guided it through political roadblocks, managed budgeting, led the strategic planning and fund raising efforts (dramatically out-performed all other district programs) and kept it thriving through it’s first 6 years of existence.Specialties: Selling, business development and key account management.
