Jim is the founder of OUTDOOR IMMERSION, a 501c3 Non-profit organization providing resilience refreshment through faith-based outdoor adventure, recreation and fitness activities to Veterans and Military Service Members. The work of Outdoor Immersion has been lauded by the Veteran Community of Western Pennsylvania where OI currently serves veterans in five counties, receiving referrals from the individual VA counselors, Veteran Service Organizations, and Veteran Treatment Courts. Services are currently being provided to the 911th Airlift Wing and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Va. INSIDE-OUTdoor Immersion is a video-based experience developed for incarcerated veterans and other applications.
