(Contract via Compass Tech International)International & Domestic Parts Supply• Managed export packaging requirements, including packaging safety, parts quality assurance, and economic impact, for over thirty-five Honda automotive parts suppliers. Requested, advised, approved & compiled Packaging Information Forms in preparation for receiving at overseas Honda warehouses.• Evaluated, managed and approved Supplier packaging, and quotes for international export. Created and oversaw case Packing Methods for third-party consolidation warehouse shipment preparations to four Honda overseas destination countries.• Developed and implemented a Pack Methods Audit Program to perform visual, physical and document inspections as specified in the Case Packing guidelines. The audits allowed for greater compliance with Honda’s Packing Methods and export shipping regulations. Achieved 100% compliance within three months of inspections.• Managed Parts Supplier concept and mass production packaging, and addressed non compliant packaging via problem solving and countermeasure activities.• Project managed New Model Mass Production events to correlate packaging production requirements, costs, timing and maturation. • Experience and knowledge with mainframe systems inputting “pack methods” into Honda shipping system for shipping preparation including part, case and shipping paperwork.
