I work with early-stage technology companies as a corporate generalist in business development, sales and as in-house counsel. My experience includes working on the executive team with investors, board members, and with sales and engineering teams. I have worked with small-medium sized start-ups, along with companies that have made the transition from private to public. My background is a combination of technical, legal, and business and I enjoy working with companies to form strategic goals, and the tactics to implement those goals, particularly with online and media companies. I have worked in the internet/SaaS/Cloud space for the past 20 years in sales, business development, and legal roles. I have extensive experience structuring and drafting business deals/contracts; software and hardware licensing, business development -- creating key deals with major partners, and have worked on a wide variety of legal and business issues. I enjoy working working with technical people and excel at distilling complex concepts to effectively communicate them to a broad audience. In my sales roles, I particular enjoy product development.I have international experience, working with sales and technical teams in India, China, Hong Kong, Russia, and Australia. I have made extensive solo trips by motorcycle in South America and Africa and enjoy engaging with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. I am a world-class unicyclist and is active in the cycling community. I also have served on many nonprofit boards and continues to actively donate my time to several nonprofits.
