I developed strategy, messaging, and tactics to tell the world about the latest and greatest in VR / MR / AR games, helping to steer the company's communications strategies and execution through a myriad of PR campaigns, special projects, marketing efforts and more. Beyond the scope of my daily activities, I would also lend a hand wherever it might be most.

I developed and implemented public relations strategies for a variety of clients, with a focus on elevating brand awareness for emerging technology companies. Additionally, I provided strategic guidance at the organizational level to fine-tune operations and ensure teams were equipped and and balanced to drive the best possible results.

As the Editor-in-Chief of Gamezebo, it was my job to identify mobile games that were poised to become the next big thing (as well as the hidden gems that everybody should be talking about). I worked with a team of freelance writers on a daily basis to coordinate coverage, create and edit content, and ensure all site standards were being met. I helped to.

Created alongside fellow veteran Canadian games journalist Eli Cymet, Ookpixels was a website dedicated to featuring magazine-style, longform content about Canadian video games, the creators behind them, and Canadian gaming culture as a whole. Believing in content over commercialization, the site ran on an ad-free sponsorship driven model to preserve its.

I provided editorial content relating to iPhone and iPad games. This included reviews, deep dives into major events and product launches, and general observations about the latest and greatest games on the App Store.

Alongside a core group of contributors, I planned, created, and promoted editorial content related to video games and gaming culture as Managing Editor of theBBPS. I tackled a wide variety of platforms and topics in my time with the site, as well as aided in the creation of the site's partner podcast, theBBPS Bitcast.
