Logistic regression with cross validation and decision tree analysis on both interlaced and non-interlaced datasets. Used R.For National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)'s Office of Response and Restoration, implemented import of GPX (GPS Exchange Format) for MARPLOT GIS application. Ported Windows MARPLOT server to Mac OS X. Initial release of MARPLOT 5 in October 2014, updated in October 2015. Mostly Python, some C++ and bash scripting.

Managed development of the application software for the i1 Biometrics Impact Intelligence System. This prototype system uses an instrumented mouth guard to measure the location and level of each hit an athlete’s head has absorbed. It provides this information game-time to the sideline.• Hired and managed a team of ten software engineers (four full-time on-site and six part-time, mostly off-site) to build a prototype with a laptop component and a cloud-based component. A sideline PC captures, processes, displays, and stores field impacts. A cloud-based application synchronizes impact-related data from sideline PCs and provides web-based analysis.• Started first software iteration one month after start date. Delivered promised goal on time: a laptop PC displaying impacts received from the mouth guard/sideline receiver radio subsystem.• Managed eight more monthly iterations using agile techniques: planning-meeting with marketing and cross-team engineering to identify tasks, twice-weekly three-question status meetings timeboxed to 30 minutes, tracking of goals with lists and tickets, and end of sprint demo and retrospective.• Participated in and supported three successful field trials with football teams in Texas, New York, and Missouri.• Managed the set up and enhancement of cloud-based source control (Subversion), issue tracking, file sharing, and diagramming. Used AWS for cloud computing and storage.
