Directly responsible for “cradle-to-grave" monitoring and management of the health and welfare of the enlisted Naval Special Warfare community. Manage and monitor the recruitment to maintain the required manpower, and that the manpower is correctly distributed throughout the enlisted Special Operations (SO) paygrades as required by valid billets.

Responsible for the management, leadership, tactical guidance, operational readiness, and moral welfare and readiness of enlisted SEALs and support personnel assigned to a Naval Special Warfare Command.Command Master Chiefs strengthen the chain of command by keeping the Commanding Officer aware of existing or potential situations as well as procedures and practices which affect the mission, readiness, welfare and morale of the SEALs and support personnel in the command. CMC's are the senior enlisted leaders who report directly to the Commanding Officer. Responsible for the formulating and implementing policies concerning morale, welfare, job satisfaction, discipline, utilization and training of personnel. By reporting directly to their Commanding Officer, the CMC's keep their chain of command aware and informed of sensitive and current issues.

United States Special Operations Command Joint Enlisted Academy will educate Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Special Operations Forces (SOF) and selected conventional force senior enlisted personnel in mission-oriented leadership and critical thinking skills to prepare them to effectively advise, lead, and mentor in the future operation environment (joint, combined, interagency) at the operational and strategic levels.

Responsible for coordination and collaboration of the logistical, administrative, tactical, operational, and strategic management of four SEAL Teams and a Logistical Support Unit in direct support of continental U.S. and forward deployed SEAL and support personnel.Superb Enlisted leader and tactical/operational advisor to the executive level staff: Outstanding performance as the Leading Chief Petty officer in the busiest and most dynamic Operations Department in Naval Special Warfare. ★ Directly responsible for monitoring the daily training and manning requirements for four SEAL teams, Support Activity ONE, Logistical Unit ONE, and Mobile Communications Team One during all phases of their inter-deployment training cycle. ★ Astute attention to detail: Steadfast and aggressive approach to requirements and resource allocation that ensures NSW forces deploy at the height of combat readiness in support of Operations IRAQI and ENDURING Freedom. ★ Ensures that the deploying Squadron meets NSW Provisional Manning Document (PMD) manning requirements with force enablers to include NSWG-1 Mobilized Reservists and OPNAV assigned support personnel. ★ Remarkable team player: Provides critical input and recommendations to NSWG-1’s unfunded requirements (UFR) panel, and is the Operations Travel Management Plan (TMP) technical advisor for five Echelon IV commands. ★ Outstanding contribution during two NWSG-1 Final Battle Problem exercises allowing two SEAL Squadrons to fully exercise and execute a deployable battle staff prior to CENTCOM deployments. ★ Exceptional mentor and trainer: Provided outstanding administrative, tactical and professional career guidance as the LCPO for six Senior enlisted SEALs and four support technicians.

Senior enlisted advisor to the commander for a 70 person combat element in Western Iraq. Responsible for overseeing, directing, and controlling business operations. Recognized by the Commander Joint Special Operations Task Force as the most combat effective advise and assist unit in Iraq, setting the example for modern special operations counterinsurgency operations. ★ Implemented project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques with the target planning process resulting in the successful completion of 200 combat operations (projects) in a seven-month period. ★ Responsible for planning, executing, monitoring and controlling of two squadron integration (simulated combat task force certification) projects ensuring effective flow, resource efficiencies, and material accountability of $3M in specialized equipment and 70 personnel, fully capable for combat deployment.

Enlisted Detailers are charged with the equitable distribution of Sailors to commands based on billets authorized (BA) and the Navy Manning Plan (NMP). Responsible for the equitable distribution of all E6 and below/ SEAL Combat Medics.

Provided the operational and administrative leadership/management for a 16-man platoon and 7 Combat Support cross-functional team members. Conducts operational and strategic missions that directly or indirectly support the Joint Force commander's campaign plan in a Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM). ★ Provided tactical input to current and future operational plans ★ Daily management of mission requirements and personnel ★ Mission planning and acquisition of support assets★ Coordinating and executing missions unilaterally or with joint forces ★ Coordinating and supervising training and exercises★ Provided oversight in the planning and execution of operations and exercises ★ Responsible for multiple high risk complex live fire training scenarios ★ Planned, organized, and lead training operations with foreign regular military and Special Operations Forces supporting the theater campaign plan. ★ Key architect in the development and execution of Unit level and Squadron Integration training and logistic schedules.

Work Center supervisor for a 16 man SEAL Platoon. Supervised, planned, and coordinated high-risk training and exercises supporting Naval Special Warfare Maritime Special Operations missions. While deployed, coordinated training and lead unilateral and bilateral training and operations with foreign regular military and special operations forces. ★ Provided leadership, mentorship, and career training to junior SEAL personnel ★ Managed internal/external reports and assumed the accountability of the overall readiness level status★ Coordinated training and lead unilateral and bilateral training and operational missions with foreign regular military and special operations forces ★ Provided critical input to the Platoon Commander and coordinated all staffing activities within and outside the Platoon;★ Coordinated and ensured interoperability with all platoon Combat Support assigned personnel.
