I've a long history in business management, especially within the IT sector, marketing services, business development and even some retail. I'm a firm believer that as time progresses we will see more and more small businesses offering specialised services to each other, but more specifically to the larger SME and corporate market.Today I am focussing on just one business - Bamarii Limited. In late 2007 I identified a potential hole in the Internet marketing area and a growing number of issues that people were having find top quality and reliable information.In 2008 this issues appeared to be getting worse, so I spent many months looking at it and carrying out a great deal of research. Even when I was 20% through this process I knew that I had hit upon a great market and I also knew what the potential solution was.In 2009 I started putting together a proposal for a business that would fill this gap and cater for this market. Sadly at the end of the year I suddenly became ill and was eventually diagnosed with bowel cancer in September 2010. This resulted in an operation followed by months of chemo. In mid-2011 I was well enough to start looking at the idea again. To my surprise, no one seemed to have discovered what I had, or if they had, they had done nothing about it. I revisited all the data and made adjustments to the idea and in early 2012 completed a detailed proposal for a new business. I was shocked by the potential revenue streams and then knew that I had created an idea that would, conservatively be worth 100's of million in six or seven years’ time.In May 2012 I registered Bamarii Limited and started the process of trying to raise just over £1 million to fund the development and first year of operation.
