Represented the Texas General Land Office's Energy Power Program, marketing to political subdivisions of the state. Potential clients include colleges & universities, public schools (K-12), counties, cities and other public facilities. It was a dream job to have completed my career. I had over 90 customers who were all my friends.

Recruited from Sempra to staff up the Reliant Energy Services. Within 6 months was requested to open the DFW office for marketing commodity sales. In eight years of commodity sales, exceeded goals seven years by 50-100%. In Star Performers Sales Club, every year of it's existence. Top sales manager in 2008, selling in excess of $12,000,000. During sales time with Reliant, added clients to include 8 of the major ISDs in the DFW area, Cousins Properties, DFW Airport, Methodist Hospital System, VA Hospital System, Baylor University, Cities of Ft Worth, Killeen, Temple ISD, and Killeen ISD among numerous other large real estate aggregations, smaller ISDs, etc.

Re-invented professional career from facilities to energy performance contracting. In 14 months managed projects from NE University of La., City Center in Ft Worth (Bass Properties) to assisting detailed study of a major east Texas medical center as well as marketing to other hospitals, ISDs, universities, and cities. Even though I was recruited by competition, Sempra asked for a 30-60 notice. Provided Sempra a 30 day notice with offer for rehire.

Marriott Management Services purchased United HealthServ and MMS retained VP positions thru out the majority of organization. Maintained sales position in the ISD market in Arizona and California. Sold first management contract for facilities and engineering in California @ Berkley School District. An organization change provided an option to return to Texas, marketing all support services including food, laundry, housekeeping, and engineering services. Won salesperson of year in 1998. Took option of leaving with package in last organizational change from Marriott to Sodexo against request by management to stay with organization. Was requested to stay for an additional 60 days which I accepted.

Started new company in Houston in facilities management. Sold services during the day and "cleaned" customer locations at night. Also contracted with several major hospitals for custodial service management. Company was making a profit in 6 months and was then operationally blended with sister company in Phoenix. Relocated to Arizona and was EVP of sales for West Coast. After a series of investments by others and mergers of companies, responsibilities expanded to span of control of 12 marketing associates in a seven state region. The company was eventually sold to Marriott Management Services.
