I have been working in the automotive industry since 2003. For me, a native of Lansing Michigan, there is no other place I would rather be. Assembly and Sequencing operations is where I have spent most of my time supporting and improving. I'm confident that any facility I walked into would benefit from my experience and skills. Aside from the basic skillset of supporting computers overall, I have more specific experience with several Honeywell products like label printers, handheld computers, hand scanners, and vehicle mounted computers. The experience there extends to Zebra, Motorola, and Symbol products. I have been using Active Directory since it was released by Microsoft and prior to that was a Novell DS Certified Admin. Network Engineering isn't my area of expertise but I know how to bring the correct teams together to start up a new facility from the demarc to the end user. Cybersecurity is the latest hot topic but for me it has always been a central part of my approach to all things computer and network related. I always tell people, 'Free is a 4-letter word.' When it comes to Industrial Engineering, I have contributed and learned a lot from that team. I know my way around PLC's, VFD's, relays, motors, and vision systems. I've helped configure and maintain the vision system for one of our assembly cells. The bottom line for me is that I am a problem solver. The knowledge and experience I've gained in the automotive industry in the last 2 decades allows me to help people solve problems in a wide range of areas.
