I create memorable experiences which help grow the local economy through tourism.With 20 years of destination marketing experience, I bring a well rounded approach to recruiting conventions and meetings and creating memorable and inspirational marketing campaigns to attract travelers to the capital city of Wyoming. I have the pleasure of working with meeting planners, associations and groups helping them execute successful meetings and conferences that create learning opportunities and memorable experiences.I'm an avid backpacker, runner, hunter and snowshoer. I enjoy spending as much time in the mountains as possible and spending time with my daughter and my friends.I earned a BA in Journalism/Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure in the spring of 1998 and in May of 2008 I earned my MS in Service Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology. in July of 2019, I achieved my CDME from Destinations International

Personally I have grown sales each year I've been with Visit Cheyenne, achieving all goals and creating positive economic impact to the community. I also help to coordinate the marketing efforts of Visit Cheyenne, through social media, online-targeted advertising efforts, press tours and interviews with travel writers. Our efforts are based on offering superior services and staying a step or more ahead of other western cities in bringing solutions to the meeting industry. In year one at Visit Cheyenne, I helped develop and launch our Meeting Express program to generate leads from local Cheyenne residents. In the first six months of the program, we have received more than 50 leads, and have had the opportunity to bid on 6 conferences and meetings. In 25 months on the job I helped book 72 future meetings in Cheyenne filling an estimated 12,000 hotel room and producing an economic impact of $5.5 million dollars for the local community. Show less
