Since I first got my degree in Physics from the Zhejiang University, China, I am fortunate to say my career has been dedicated chemical safety, with a great dose of entrepreneurial innovation. My first exposure to chemical product registration and authorization began with a 9-year position at the Zhejiang Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau (CIQ)’s Safety Test Laboratory. Understanding the ins and outs of risk management and certification in China and international standards later on allowed me to contribute my expertise to the EU REACH Workgroup of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) from 2007, which included visits to the European Commission and ECHA (European Chemical Agency). In 2009 I became one of the founding members of REACH24H Consulting Group, a chemical consulting firm dedicated to providing regulatory compliance services. With our headquarters in China’s tech hub Hangzhou, and offices in Ireland, Taiwan and Washington D.C, what began with a concept focused on chemicals quickly expanded into agrochemicals, food, medical devices, cosmetics and consumer products, and allowed us to bring our passion to Chemlinked, the first Asia-Pacific regulatory news portal. 2015 was indeed a big year. I founded DaddyLabs, awarded the China Social Innovation Star Competition, and has included effective crowdfunding campaigns which raised over 2 million yuan in just one hour to help fund relevant inspection work.Since the middle of 2018 I have once again lead REACH24H as General Manager, where I manage and, I hope, inspire everyday our 170 professionals to search for more, expand and always put #ValueinCompliance.
