I currently work at Defence Forces Headquarters.In my spare time, I strive to develop my knowledge in the area accounting and finance and I am studying at Griffith College Dublin. Outside of work and study I love exploring the outdoors with my wife and two children in addition to playing music.

In this role I co-ordinated and compiled administrative and logistical returns for the Naval Service and distributed them to Defence Forces Headquarters. Fleet Navigation OfficerIrish Defence Forces Dec 2016 - Apr 2019Cork, IrelandIn this role I worked with a small team that audited Naval Service Vessels in respect of their operational capabilities and adherence to standard operating procedures. I conducted annual navigation audits on all vessels and provided advice to the Officer Commanding the Fleet in respect of Naval Service Navigation policy. In addition to my day-to-day work, I worked on a project to implement a paperless navigation system within the fleet. I wrote Naval Service standard operating procedures for the new system and co ordinated a fleet training programme for implementation of the new system.
