    [In June of 2016 Active Broadband was acquired by CenturyLink] - Cassandra 1.2 and 2.0. Move Python code from older pycassa API to new DataStax API. Re-wrote the configuration scripts to easy installation and configuration of Cassandra- Developed a custom Pentaho component in Java integrated into ABN's reporting system- Lead the implementation of ABN's sdn-controller built on Open Daylight (Helium & Beryllium). Wrote the OVSDB discovery module that discovers and configures OpenVSwitch systems. Designed and implemented the modules that take ABN policies and translated those policies into OpenFlow table updates. Several bugs found against the Open Daylight package. Patches submitted back to the Open Source community.- OpenFlow 1.0 and 1.3- ovsdb

It took 10 months but we succeeded in moving development off-shore. For almost a year after that I lead and managed this off-shore team. Some of the results we produced: - In January 2005 our bug back-log was 40 bugs - By November of 2005 our total backlog was 8 bugs - In January 2005 it took, on average, 10 weeks to fix a customer bug - By November of 2005 we had cut this to less than 2 weeks to fix a customer bug - Between January 2005 and November 2005 we improved our software delivery performance. In January 2005 25% of our projects were delivered on time. By November 2005, 75% of our projects were delivered on time.
