Production Manager / Plant Manager As Plant Manager I was responsible for all production, material handling, fabrication, scheduling, shipping and receiving, adherence to company policies, employee hiring and discipline at Grindmaster’s vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY. Ensure production crews meet or exceed daily output goals while delivering a quality product that exceeds our customer’s delivery expectations. Assigned as Director of Operations, Crathco Plant in Monterey, Mexico from 2001 to 2002 for the purpose of observing and evaluating the cost, staff and management of the operation. Eventually managed logistics for a seamless shutdown and transfer of sales orders and production to our manufacturing plant in Rayong, Thailand. 1997 to 1999 I was charged with layout and set-up of a new manufacturing facility in Rayong, Thailand. Worked directly with General Manager to hire and train production staff, assemble lean production lines, layout material stores, and set-up and maintain material flow from US to Thailand until 100% local content was achieved in 1999.
