Application Development Team Lead (With Bluemetal)Fidelity Investments Sep 2015 - Mar 2017Boston, Ma, UsLed an integrated team of developers including both BlueMetal and Fidelity teammates to successfully build out and deliver a richly-featured custom equity trading order management desktop client application. This application was deployed across all of Fidelity's equity trading desks and programs internationally. It was developed using the .NET Framework, Fidelity's open-sourced Envision framework, Developer Express (DevEx) grid components, and Reactive Extensions in C# and WPF. It integrated with REST web services, Gemstone Gemfire caching, and Reuters RFA market data feeds. Using various Jetbrains tools (dotMemory, dotTrace), we were able to benchmark the client consuming multiple times "flash-crash" levels (90+Mbps) of cache and market data without loss of stability or operability. The team contributed to building Fitnesse Fitsharp fixtures to maintain an automated regression suite that was included with unit tests in our gitflow based CI build pipeline. The project was managed using agile sprints using integrated Jira, Stash, and HP QC tools. -
