At ESP Mr. Wimberly has been involved in all aspects of project development, including site selection and design, technology evaluations and selection, logistical and infrastructural analyses, economic & financial analyses and modeling, facilities and site permitting, product market analyses and development, and commodity pricing analyses and forecasting.During 1997-2012 Mr. Wimberly managed numerous feasibility studies (ranging from farm-scale systems to $420MM vertically integrated ventures), designed comprehensive feedstock supply chains for commercial-scale biorefineries and utility-scale powerplants, and participated in the development / evaluation / commercialization of numerous projects using thermochemical conversion technologies (including combustion, gasification, pyrolysis, and Fischer-Tropsch systems). Previously, Mr. Wimberly worked with Winrock International, where he served as Contracts Officer, co-founder and Deputy Director of Winrock’s global bioenergy program, and Director of Winrock’s domestic bioenergy activities. During 1976~1986, Mr. Wimberly worked on design, construction management, and operations of agricultural processing facilities; technical, economic, logistical, and environmental assessments of proposed/existing projects; and various business start-ups. Mr. Wimberly has a BS in Agricultural Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration / Engineering. Mr. Wimberly has worked in over twenty-five countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Central America, Oceania, and the U.S.Specialties: - Project development, management, and administration;- Energy production, including both conventional and bioenergy systems & technologies;- Economic and financial analyses;- Organizational development, including formation, start-up, & operations;- Facilitation, convening, and stakeholder coordination;- Natural resources management.
