I am active in a range of non-exec and volunteer roles in businesses and organisations in the UK and USA. I particularly focus on environmental activism and community issues in my volunteering roles and business strategy, governance and financial oversight in my non-exec roles together with coaching of senior business leaders.I demonstrate the benefits of transferring strategic thinking and organisational processes from the corporate to the volunteer world and of the skills required to engage and motivate volunteers to the corporate environment.My strengths lie in the ability to deliver strong financial and governance oversight and to take a big picture view of situations whilst at the same time possessing the analytical and systems skills to delve into the details when required to base decisions on underlying data.
