In place to advise and educate 40+ IT sales workforce, on the best way to sell/up-sell/cross-sell software licenses to SME/SMB customers.Included negotiating with customers, and advising them on what they "needed" sometimes, rather than what they "wanted" - best fit for the company, their staff, and their budget.Mainly Microsoft Open License Programme (MOLP) in the first 18 months - helped to grow software licensing sales from £75K to £750K in that time period.Later efforts were more focused on Microsoft Select, but lack of timely opportunities put a hold on that.

Part of a 2 man team who took over from the in-house Microsoft team, as primary contacts for the Microsoft Partner community, specifically when they requested information about, and clarification of, the various Microsoft Licensing offerings.My colleague and I also rendered assistance with technical issues via TechNet, and helped to troubleshoot and test the Microsoft Licensing Sales series of on-line certification.I have, until recently, maintained the Microsoft Licensing Sales Expert certification, along with that for OEM licensing.
