Nesscap's operating entities were acquired by Maxwell Technologies in 2017 (subsequently acquired by Tesla, Inc. in 2019). After Micron’s acquisition of Numonyx, in 2010, I was retained to assist integration of sales and revenue finance functions into Micron as part of the broader M&A integration. I also extended Numonyx’s distribution pricing process to Micron’s distribution channel—projected margin improvement was $30M+ annually.

Numonyx was created in 2008 as a joint venture (with private equity participation) between Intel Corp. and STMicroelectronics which spun out their respective flash memory businesses into a single company, achieving aggregate annual revenue of $2B+. Numonyx was acquired by Micron Technologies in 2010.While still at Intel, I was hired as a founding member of the Numonyx finance leadership team, chartered to support the startup, integration, and financial success of the JV company.First role was Finance Director for the Wireless and Data Business Units (2 of the 3 BUs of the JV, $1.5B annual revenue), based in Milan, Italy where I reported to the Wireless and Data BU General Managers and the global Operations Finance VP:► Created internal P&L models, financial processes and controls, resulting in robust platforms for reporting, margin analysis, inventory management, budgeting, and product line rationalization.► Provided executive team with analysis and recommendations resulting in the termination of unprofitable products and improved margins. Separately, I led a cross-functional team that delivered $60M+ in Wireless product margin improvement.► Defined organizational structure and deliverables, then built a strong team, reconciling diverse cultures and sometimes conflicting processes into a singular BU support model.Subsequently, became Finance Director for the Worldwide Sales and Marketing Group:► Implemented a global distribution pricing process that delivered $20M margin improvement in the first year.► Recognized by CFO for “value-added Finance contributions” for developing tools that enhanced executive visibility and decision making.

After four years at Intel’s HQ in California, rotated to Moscow, Russia, where I managed Finance & Admin for the 11 countries within Intel’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) emerging markets region. My tenure in Russia coincided with Intel’s largest sales growth and massive R&D investment in the region. ► Built and scaled a lasting finance organization that was regarded as a major asset in managing and safeguarding Intel’s growing investment in a challenging emerging market environment.► Supported creation of a shared-service center and assisted with M&A integration.► Instituted tight financial processes and controls, created the region’s first holistic budget, and developed an ROI-based resource allocation model.
