RUC News Studio is a media organization operated by a group of RUC students with a focus on data journalism.- Pitch and write data-driven stories on topics including the identity-theft cases in college entrance examination reported by the media from 2010 to 2020，coronavirus vaccine, and discussions concerning closed-off management over the campuses on social media Zhihu, receiving more than 80,000 clicks on the WeChat platform.- Analyze data for the projects such as changes of female characters in the history of China’s animation.

- Covered stories on 2020 China floods- Covered stories on legal issues including alleged sexual assault of a teenager by a prominent ZTE lawyer Bao Yuming and three pieces were published：Who is Bao Yuming: Called for Protecting Young Girls in China and Resigns ZTE Executive amid Sexual Assault Allegations；Child Sexual Abuse is an Act of Violence in nature, even a Crime；Abuse Allegations Spark a Deputy to the National People's Congress’s Proposal to Raise Age of Consent from 14 to 16 in China；- Wrote on deadline, posting two to three breaking news online as well as continuing reporting for longer, in-depth stories for later publication.- Assisted other journalists in reporting on the fight against coronavirus.
